The Babylon trap!

Those that have read this blog know that I believe the Bible clearly describes America as a part of the end time Babylon. Babylon represents the world and all it's ways and America is a very powerful part of that.

I had an unusual dream last night. A lot of it I do not remember clearly, but some of what I remember really had me thinking today. In the first part of the dream I was in the presence of the Lord, a feeling of being surrounded by him. I had a sense of things happening that will only occur at the last day, only after the days of the great tribulation. I remember saying to the Lord that these things cannot be happening now, we haven’t been through the 7 year tribulation! What he said to me and asked me, shocked me. He asked, “How do you know that the 7 year tribulation isn’t over now? You have been in Babylon; do you know what has been going on in the rest of the world? You have not put yourself in a position to be persecuted for the sake of the gospel; you have been living in ease in Babylon.” I believe this is a warning to us. “If it were possible even the very elect will be fooled.” It will be possible to be so involved “in” Babylon that our eyes can be blinded and not even recognize when tribulation starts.

We only have two spiritual authorities working in this world today, Christ and anti-Christ, as Jesus said in Luke 11:23: “He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.” 1John 4:3: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Acts the 4th chapter came to my mind:

Ac:4:18: And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
Ac:4:19: But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
Ac:4:20: For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
I am not a school teacher, but here in Babylon (America) they tell Christian teachers in public schools the same thing they told Peter and John.."do not speak or teach in the name of Jesus Christ". Why are there not more Christian school teachers being fired for “hearkening unto God?” and speaking the things of God and doing as Peter said “we cannot help but speak” It has become the acceptable thing in Christianity to "obey the laws of the land" and not "ruffle feathers". This is just one small example of how the lines are already being drawn in one area and how easy it is to avoid persecution by just conforming to the world. Just wait until such laws are spread to every area of our lives. Who will stand then?

M't:10:32: Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
M't:10:33: But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Lu:12:8: Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
Lu:12:9: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

This is not our world. Jesus said in John 17:16: “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.” Like Abraham (Hebrews11:10: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.) We are still looking for that city. We do not fight with the sword or with flesh and blood as EPHESIANS 6 says, our fight in the spirit.

We need to face the fact and realize that the very principles that control and run this world, this Babylon system, this anti-chirst system, is against God. As long as we conform to the ways of this system, to this world, we will not be persecuted, but that would also be denying Christ. James 4:4: Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

The school teachers that conform to the laws of this world’s system are just one obvious example of this. I only use the school teachers here because if there were enough Christian teachers in public school sharing their faith as we are all commanded to do, there would have been so many teachers being fired that it would have been all over the news.

But I say every one of us face this same type of thing in our jobs. Not all of them will fire us for breaking the government’s laws, but in the private world many times compromises have to be made so that the “bottom line” is met. The examples could go on and on, but you know where the compromises are, the things that would separate us from the world but would negatively affect our physical lives if we obeyed God.

We don’t even realize how deeply we have been sucked into this world. Even the Christian Churches are governed and operated with the same worldly system. But, there is a shaking coming; God is going to pull his people out of this system. It will be a lot easier on us if we do it willing now, before the shaking comes.

Heb:10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Five times the Bible say “the just shall live by faith” for a reason. It time to start living by faith in God, not faith in our jobs, faith in the government, faith in the doctors or health care, but faith in God! Obey God and let the chips fall where they fall.

Like the three Hebrew men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, said: Daniel 3:17: If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
Daniel 3:18: But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

These things are hidden from the wise

BECKY HAYES

Consider the following scriptures:

Daniel 8:26
"The vision of the evenings and mornings Which has been told is true; But keep the vision secret, For it pertains to many days in the future."

Daniel 12:4, 8-10
"But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase."

As for me, I heard but could not understand; so I said, "My lord, what will be the outcome of these events?" He said, "Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time." "Many willbe purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand."

The above scriptures are talking about the last days and that complete understanding will not be revealed until "the end time". The doctrines of many prominent prophecy teachers today have their roots traced back to the 1830s. It seems that in the 1830s they thought they were in "the end time" and the Holy Spirit was revealing to them the "sealed words". Well, 176 years later, I can tell you, they were not at the "time of the end", but prophecy teachers today are preaching this same pre-tribulation rapture doctrine that was founded back in 1836.

I believe we are now in those days that was spoken of in Daniel and the Holy Spirit is now revealing these things to his servants. But, as the scriptures say it will not be the popular well known theologians that will not allow themselves to see it. Not many are going to be willing to admit they were wrong.

God is going to show it to those that don't have reputations to protect, the ones that don't see themselves as anyone special. Their speech isn't perfect and are not known for their worldly wisdom. They will not try to figure out the mysteries of God with their own intellect.
Consider these scriptures:

Matthew 11:25
At that time Jesus said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants.
And:

1Corinthians:1:27-29: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no man may boast before God.

Have you read the story of Balaam and the talking donkey? It is found in the 22nd chapter of Numbers. Balaam is a prophet and is not doing as the Lord told him to do.

Balaam arose in the morning, and saddled his donkey and went with the leaders of Moab. But God was angry because he was going, and the angel of the
LORD took his stand in the way as an adversary against him.

Now he was riding on his donkey and his two servants were with him. When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way with his drawn sword in his hand, the donkey turned off from the way and went into the field; but Balaam struck the donkey to turn her back into the way.

Then the angel of the LORD stood in a narrow path of the vineyards, with a wall on this side and a wall on that side. When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she pressed herself to the wall and pressed Balaam's foot against the wall, so he struck her again.

The angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place where there was no way to turn to the right hand or the left. When the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she lay down under Balaam; so Balaam was angry and struck the donkey with his stick.

And the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, "What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?"

Then Balaam said to the donkey, "Because you have made a mockery of me! If there had been a sword in my hand, I would have killed you by now."

The donkey said to Balaam, "Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden all your life to this day? Have I ever been accustomed to do so to you?"

And he said, "No."

Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way with his drawn sword in his hand; and he bowed all the way to the ground.

The angel of the LORD said to him, "Why have you struck your donkey these three times? Behold, I have come out as an adversary, because your way was contrary to me. But the donkey saw me and turned aside from me these three times. If she had not turned aside from me, I would surely have killed you just now, and let her live."

Balaam said to the angel of the LORD, "I have sinned, for I did not know that you were standing in the way against me. Now then, if it is displeasing to you, I will turn back."

In this story the donkey starts talking! But Balaam doesn't seem to notice that he is talking to a DONKEY! He has a conversation with the donkey! Balaam never consider that the donkey had a good reason for what he was doing. Never thought that the donkey knew something he didn't know!

If that was happening today, they would say "the devil was making the donkey do that!"

I believe this is a great parallel of today's "men of renown" in the Christian community not hearing or seeing what the "unknown" believer has seen & heard from the Lord. Especially when you read the prophecy later given by Balaam about these last days.

Jesus said that the end of days would be as the days of Noah were. God didn't tell all to Noah until 7 days before the flood was to being....(Ge:7:4: In seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.)

What if Noah wasn't listening.............?
