Set my people free.

my prayer

Lord I pray you fill me with your words to write. Not my words, but only yours, for there is no good thing in me, that is, of my own flesh. Only you Lord can impart the spiritual truth to those that have ears to hear and eyes to see. Only you, oh Lord, can give life to these dry bones and make them live. Not a life filled with of our own wants and desires, but the life that is pleasing to you, not our will by thy will be done. Only you, oh Lord, can give us the eyes to see and ears to hear.

Lord, is there no one that will stand for you? To defend your word? Your people have become blind and without ears to hear. They have become lazy and without the desire to seek your face. They have allowed others to teach them and lead them astray tickling their ears until they have become deaf to your pure word. Your word is dismissed as their “culture” has changed therefore making much of your word without merit and must be “adapted” to their modern lives.

Lord, their religions have not worked, it has only put them to sleep and put them at ease. They have a form of Godliness, but have denied your power to redeem them and cause them to walk in pure holiness. We do not see that Church without spot or wrinkle in these religious systems. We do not see the crucified lives dedicated to your will; we do not see the selfless lives, but rather self esteem being glorified, that which you said must die. How it must break your heart oh Lord.

Father, I know you have those that belong to you that are being held captive in these religious systems. Lord, may I stand in the gap for these, your people? Your called out ones, the ekklesia, your Church, the temple built without hands. Lord I pray you give them a spirit of revelation. Burn out of them everything that man has built up in them. I pray, burn out of them the traditions of their religions, and their false teachings. Lord, I pray, let them see and follow your ways instead of man’s. Bring them out oh Lord, set your people FREE!
